The Digital Photography Fundamentals (DPF) course covers the fundamentals of photography such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO, exposure, depth of field, capturing moving subjects, blurring out the background of images, tripods and other photography equipment, general camera operation, and more.
There are 12 DPF classes total, and they are divided into Series I, II, and III.
Classes are 90 minutes long and held at our premiere studios in Irvine. Students are asked to bring their digital camera (any model is fine), but it’s not a necessity. You’re welcome to attend class to learn what camera equipment are best to purchase.
A new series starts every 12 weeks at our studio, so the maximum amount of time you’ll have to wait between purchasing a class and getting into a class is 12 weeks. However you can take as long as you need to attend class. Your purchase does not expire. Please keep in mind that we don’t issue any refunds.
We have outlined what concepts are covered in each of the 12 DPF classes. Click here to see the curriculum.
