Our Photography Certification Program is made up of all the 12 classes in the I, II, and III DPF (Digital Photography Fundamentals) series, in addition to 2 hours of one-on-one instruction or two Level II workshops.
Program length: 20 hours
Here is a description of our DPF series:
The digital photography fundamentals (DPF) course is a series covering the fundamentals of photography such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO, exposure, depth of field, capturing moving subjects, blurring out the background of images, tripods and other photography equipment, general camera operation, and more. Each one series is made up of 4 classes with essential hands-on training in understanding your DSLR, and how to use it to get the shots you envision. There are 3 series (series I, II, III – 12 classes total) taught at iWink. Classes are held at our premiere professional photography studios in Irvine. Students are asked to bring their digital camera (any model is fine), but it’s not a necessity. You’re welcome to attend class to learn what camera equipment are best to purchase.

A new series starts every 12 weeks at our studio, so the maximum amount of time you’ll have to wait between purchasing a class and getting into a class is 12 weeks. However you can take as long as you need to attend class, as your purchase does not expire as long as we still offer the class.
Below are some examples of work by our students, taken during class and workshops:
